Plansee Shanghai wins the DEIB Employer Award 2025

On the occasion of the release of an authoritative ranking in the global employer brand research arena, Plansee (Shanghai) High-Performance Materials Co., Ltd. has once again secured the "2025 DEIB Employer Award" for its outstanding practices in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and the newly introduced core dimension—Belonging.

Notably, this year's assessment marked the first inclusion of "Belonging" as an independent criterion within the evaluation framework, and Plansee Shanghai emerged as one of the pioneering enterprises to excel under this novel standard through a series of innovative initiatives.

This achievement signifies the company's enhanced commitment to the DEIB strategy and underscores its landmark progress in fostering an organizational culture characterized by comprehensive participation and emotional cohesion.

As a paragon in the manufacturing of refractory metals, alloys, and composite materials, Plansee Shanghai has consistently regarded DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) as one of its strategic pillars for advancing sustainable development. Over the past year, Plansee Shanghai has intensified its DEI initiatives with a focus on fostering a diverse talent pool. Through campus recruitment drives, it has implemented cross-departmental rotation schemes and a mentorship program to nurture well-rounded professionals. For existing technical personnel, leveraging the Engineers Association, it has established a tiered empowerment framework to enhance capabilities through technical challenge projects and a variety of innovative research endeavors.

Meanwhile, we have fortified the collaboration between universities and enterprises. Guided by industry orientation and the pedagogical requirements of higher education institutions, Plansee Shanghai carefully selects professionals capable of infusing practical work experience and cutting-edge industry technologies into the educational process to serve as "corporate lecturers" for universities.

These lecturers aid universities in elevating teaching quality across various domains, including curriculum design, practical training programs, and textbook development.

Furthermore, they devise systematic courses grounded in real-world applications, deliver regular instruction to students in relevant disciplines, and actively engage in students' practical internships and thesis supervision.

At Plansee Shanghai, we firmly believe that diversity, equity, inclusiveness, and a sense of belonging serve as vital driving forces for sustainable development. As we ascend to the pinnacle of our industry, we foster an environment of equal dialogue and a multifaceted value network, ensuring not only that every voice is heard but also that wisdom from diverse backgrounds can collide and ignite innovative sparks.
